BIOGRAPHY

KNOIR is a DMV based innovative pop artist and composer whose style is often compared to the likes of Miguel, and The Weekend. His sound draws on the influences of Old School artists such as Sam Cooke, Prince, Frank Sinatra and modern artists such as Miguel, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Pharrell, Michael Buble and Kanye West.

At an early age, his mother recognized his artistic ability and enrolled him in Thomas G. Pullen Performing Arts School where he discovered his musicality. Initially KNOIR founded his musical background playing the piano. He progressed his talents when he moved on to Suitland High School’s Performing Arts Program where he became classically trained. While enrolled in the piano program, he entered the choir and discovered his vocal talent through voice lessons. KNOIR had the opportunity while in Suitland’s Choir to share the stage with the likes of Diana Ross, Mariah Carey, Justin Bieber, Usher, Maxwell, and many more in the production Christmas in Washington. After graduating he blossomed on his own and began to write his own music. KNOIR began to learn how to produce his own beats and produced himself shortly after. He began to create full projects beginning with his unreleased song “Going to LA”. KNOIR honed in on his craft over time and has recently released "The Brink Of Solace" for his first complete project of 2018. The project includes his hit single June Nights as well as his first record “Going to LA”. KNOIR credits his successes to his support team including his mother Zsavita J (producer), Van Wilson, DJ Thrill (mixing/mastering), Ron Cooke (Branding), and the rest of his crew.
